TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
At Nationwide Ironworks, customer satisfaction is our priority. To ensure a clear agreement and understanding of our policies, please review the following Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
1. Terms and Conditions
These Terms apply to all orders, documents, or agreements that incorporate these Terms (collectively, the “Agreement”) and relate to the sale and/or provision of products and services to you (“Purchaser”) by Nationwide Ironworks (hereinafter referred to as “Seller”).
2. Payment Terms
- Payments may be made via credit card or check.
- 50% of the total purchase price (including shipping) is due at the time of placing the order, prior to production.
- The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of fabrication (up to 5 months from the order date) and before shipping or installation.
3. Returns & Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns or cancellations on any custom items. This policy is in effect from the moment manufacturing begins.
4. Warranty
Provided the Purchaser is not in default on any payments, Nationwide Ironworks guarantees that all products sold will be free from defects in material and craftsmanship. Each product is hand-forged and hand-finished, meaning minor variations are natural and contribute to the unique character of our work. These variations are not considered defects.
a. Doors
- 4-year limited warranty on structural and mechanical defects for door frames, doors, and transoms.
- Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser while residing or conducting business at the installation location.
- Warranty claims must be reviewed and authorized by our production manager and sales representative.
- Shipping charges may apply.
- If a defect in material or craftsmanship results in product failure, Nationwide Ironworks, at its sole discretion, may:
- Provide replacement parts at no charge (FOB nearest shipping point), OR
- Offer a refund equivalent to the cost of replacement parts.
- The replacement parts' warranty extends only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
- Nationwide Ironworks is not responsible for labor, installation, sales tax, finishing, or any other incidental costs unless expressly required by state law.
b. Paint & Finish
- Professionally applied paint and finish are warrantied for 2 years from the date of sale.
- Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser while residing or conducting business at the installation location.
- Warranty excludes:
- Scratches from shipping or installation (remediable with the provided touch-up kit).
- Damage due to improper maintenance or environmental exposure.
- Warranty claims require inspection and authorization by the production manager and sales representative. Shipping charges may apply.
c. Glass
- 1-year warranty from the date of sale for glass components.
- Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser while residing or conducting business at the installation location.
- Warranty excludes:
- Minor imperfections, scratches, or broken glass.
- Warranty claims require inspection and authorization by the production manager and sales representative. Shipping charges may apply.
d. Handles
- Handle warranties are subject to each manufacturer's terms and conditions.
- Warranty excludes:
- Scratches from shipping or installation (remediable with the provided touch-up kit).
- Warranty claims require inspection and authorization by the production manager and sales representative. Shipping charges may apply.
